The game is back online now. After almost a week of work trying to fix several background issues.

We are still on Beta version as some issues still remain to be fixed but we hope this time it runs smoother.
There is one important modification though, the messages you receive on your homepage inbox will be deleted after 1 week, so for those who like to keep the information (for races/points or other stuff) you may need to do it manually.

The private messages are not deleted though.

We will be reseting the skills today at around 14h00-15h00.

The benefits already obtained will not be removed (for example, if you signed 10 riders you won't lose them) however if you want to have the benefits again (like for training) you will have to learn the skills again.

This will also help on identifying some of the remaining bugs with skills as the lower level skills take less time to complete.

A full reset is expected after cleaning all the bug board.

The season 2 Beta mode is now over. We will be shortly turning off the server and prepare everything for the final restart.
It is expected to happen anytime between today and tomorrow.

Get ready because this time is for good.

Some things that you may want to know:
  • Now, during the dayturn process (usually at 00:00 UTC) the game will be no longer accessible. This is to prevent data modification during critical parts of the update that can lead to errors. Once the dayturn has been processed, the game will go back online automatically. The process usually last for about 30 minutes or so. In case that the event fails, the game will remain locked until the problem is fixed.
  • The default roster has been increased for CTT and non-CTT teams. The new values are:
    • Non-CTT teams = 14 (Before 12)
    • CTT teams = 15 (Before 14)
    This will make the recruitment a little bit easier on the first week of the game, however, those values will be reverted to the default 12/14 for season 3, so you better learn enough skills if you plan to recruit by then.
  • Salaries of the riders has been increased. Especially for the best talents in the game. Remember that the riders engaged on the default contract will still be paid very low amounts but as soon as you want to renegotiate with them or trying to sign them from a different team, they will ask the revised amount, and yes, that could go up to some millions for the best!!
  • Riders decision regarding contracts shouldn't take so long now. The waiting time has been decreased for most of the cases.
  • Remember that new talents will appear on the game on Day 50. Also on day 50 you can start to renegotiate contracts with your riders. By day 67 you will be able to start transfers negotiations again.
  • The deadline for transfers will be day 10, again, as an exceptional measure for being the first season. For season 3 it will be back to day 7 as originally planned.
  • Finally, if you don't want to play with all the new features and you rather prefer to play on the original season 1 mode, remember that you can do so by requesting to delete your account through My Account page and creating a new account that will take you to one of the new playground gameworlds that will be available on a few days.

Something else I missed to say before:
  • During the dayturn, messages older than 14 days will be deleted (except Private Messages from the forum) that mean that for those of you who like to keep track of records, points and other stats you will have to find a way to do it manually. We will try to provide in the future a method to make backups in an easy way but is not a priority for now

02/04/2010 - Update of the game:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented some managers to set tactics
  • Fixed a problem when unstacking elements on the skills tree make them restart from 0.
  • Fixed a problem on negotiations between teams where the buyer cannot offer contract to the rider.
  • Fixed a problem where a rider engaged on negotiations with 2 teams counted as 2 different negotiations for the limits.

The following issues have been seem to be corrected and will be updated on the server this morning:
* Tactics Page = viewtopic.php?f=71&t=1230
* Problem with transfers = viewtopic.php?f=71&t=1225
* GAME probleme avec l arbre des talents* - viewtopic.php?f=71&t=1228
+ the problem where you can't offer a contract for a rider on another team.

The fixes have not been able to be tested, so please keep posting if problems persist.

An important announcement:

All the tactics for the GW's were reset in order to sort out the tactic issue. Sorry, but everyone will have to reset their tactics and teams for all upcoming races.

  • Fixed a bug on skill roster with wrong bonus on level 9 and level 10.
  • Disabled option to save/load fitness planning.
  • Moved the SAVE button on training page to allow clearer view on teams with 20+ riders.

The team is currently testing the fixes for the :MON: stages and the :MON: :ITT: 's. We are expecting them to be updated today.

There will be no restart or roll back as all players have experienced the same problem and no one has been given an advantage. For those teams who managed to better adjust their tactics, well done to them. For the rest, it is game on as usual.
