I would say it is because their HIL attribute far out weights the REC attribute, even on the long tour.
In my race it is the TT guys that are dominating. The peleton has finished with at least 44 riders on every stage. Because the stages are mainly :FLAT: and :HIL: , which is a weakness for Tour riders, they end up not shining here. The Tour guys would probably do better in a 3 day race with a long :ITT: and hard :MON: , especially if it features an uphill finish.

Excuse me but there is something I don't understand about full reset of season 2.

is the full reset will concern also riders we have signed as yet ?

Merci

What does this mean?
The first one 2 dots are red
The second one only the one in between, it stands for" DB"

The first one corresponds to silverlight, if it's green it means everything has been initialized correctly. The second corresponds to DB exactly, if it's red means you have no connection to the db. It can be temporary problem, try again in a few minutes. If it remains red for a long time is probably due to a problem with the server so you will have to wait until is fixed.

:UK: Yes, it does mean that he has reached his maximum in this discipline.

I will explain it like this:
- The are 8 levels of potential for a rider. Level 1 is the lowest potential and level 8 the highest. A level 8 rider is one who can reach 85 in a discipline.
- All riders have a maximum potential which is unseen by the managers (until scouting is introduced, but this is not in the foreseeable future). You rider is obviously a lower potential rider and so is not able to reach more than the level he has at the moment.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Very interesting post, Cyclemad ;) There's hardly some info about this key issue out there, and nothing in the Manual :(

Some more questions, regarding to this stuff:

1) Potential affects each skill separately? I have one guy who reached 65 in Sprint, and keep on increasing in some others that are above 70 :?:

2) Is 85 the maximum level for each skill a rider can reach?

Thanks in advance :D

Yes, but in function of the rider's type (TOUR, climber, sprinter...).
They can not reach the same level. A climber can stop his increase in FLAT around 55 and a sprinter around 70 and more....

HIGUERA wrote:2) Is 85 the maximum level for each skill a rider can reach?

Yes (and no): 85 is the maximum level in a skill....
But all riders cant become "Contador"... so many riders have a potentiel which limit their increase, for sample:
- A climber maybe reach 85 in MO, but never possible in FLAT
- A sprinter maybe reach 85 in SP, but never possible in MO
I hope it is clear?

Aroda,
did you change something concerning the TT's?
Because when i compare the time 9.18 on a 9 km TT with that of season 1, its about 3 minutes quicker?
Not?
